Create your account
Work through the four-step sign-up wizard, pay for your subscription, and verify your email address.
Signing up for QortexOS is a four-step wizard. The step indicator across the top reads Plan, About you, Company, and Payment. Completed steps stay selectable, so you can go back and change an answer.
Payment comes at the end, and your account is created once the payment goes through.
Choose a plan. The first step is the pricing view.
Use the Billing period control to switch between Monthly and Annual. Annual carries a Save 20% badge. The note under the plans reads: "All plans include the full operating picture. Annual billing saves 20%. Monthly subscriptions may cancel at any time."
A Currency selector appears when the plans are priced in more than one currency. Every amount on the page is shown in the one you pick.
There are three plans: Professional for a single connected operation, Multi-Tenant for a portfolio of operations run side by side (choosing it shows a Number of tenants control), and Enterprise, whose price reads Custom. Professional and Multi-Tenant carry a Subscribe button. Enterprise carries Contact Sales, which does not enter checkout; it opens the contact page on qortexos.com. The plans are described in more detail in Subscription and billing.
The About you and Company steps each show a Your plan summary with a Change plan button; on Payment, the plan sits inside the Order summary panel with the same Change plan control.
Enter your details. This step is titled Create your account and collects First name, Last name, Email, a Country code and Phone number, and a Password you enter twice. All are required, and the phone number has to be a valid one. A Password requirements panel lists the rules and ticks them off as you type.
Select Continue. If an account already exists for that email address, you are told so and offered a link to sign in with it instead.
Describe your company. This step is titled Tell us about your company. It asks for an Organization name, an Organization type, and a Region.
Organization type offers five choices: Managed Service Provider - MSP, Managed Service Security Provider - MSSP, Value-Added Reseller, Channel Vendor - CV, and Other. Picking MSP or MSSP adds a Multi-Tenant Organization checkbox: "Does your organization operate more than one MSP/MSSP under the same umbrella organization?"
Region is where your data is held, and only the countries QortexOS can serve appear in the list. For countries with sub-regions, such as the United States and Canada, a Timezone region selector appears as well.
Select Continue to payment.
Pay. The last step is titled Payment. Enter your card details and a full Billing address. A note under the form reads: "Payments are encrypted and processed securely by Stripe."
An Order summary panel shows a line for your plan, a Subtotal and Discount row when a discount applies, and Due today with a "/ month" or "/ year" suffix. Under it sits a renewal footnote, either "Renews automatically each month. Cancel anytime." or the annual equivalent.
Select the pay button, which reads Pay followed by the amount. The amount on the button is the amount charged.
The currency you check out in is fixed for the life of the subscription. Choose it deliberately on the plan step.
After you pay
You land on a waiting screen headed Payment received: "Your payment went through and we're setting up your account. This usually takes a few seconds." Leave the tab open and the portal moves you on by itself.
If checkout expired or could not be completed, you are returned to the plan step with an explanation and nothing left to settle.
Verify your email address
Next you see Check your email: "We sent a verification link to your email address. Click the link to continue." Under it are Resend email, which has a short cooldown between attempts, and Use a different email.
Open the email. Its subject is "Verify your QortexOS email address" and its button is Verify Email Address. If the button does not work in your mail client, the email also carries a six-digit verification code you can enter on the verification page yourself. The link and the code are both valid for 24 hours.
Following the link shows Verifying your email…, then Email verified: "Your email has been confirmed. You can now sign in." If the link has expired or does not work, the page explains why and offers Enter code manually.
What happens next
You have an account, but you have not signed in yet. Your first sign-in has two things waiting behind it: setting up two-factor authentication, and confirming your organization details.
