Subscription and billing

The QortexOS plans, how billing periods and currency work, and what the Subscription screen shows.

Your subscription is chosen when you sign up. Inside QortexOS, the Subscription Management screen shows you what you currently have. Every change to it is made in the billing portal that the screen links to.

The plans

QortexOS shows three plans on the sign-up pricing step.

PlanWhat it covers
ProfessionalA single business running one connected operation. The card shows one price for the billing period you picked.
Multi-TenantA portfolio of operations run side by side, isolated from each other. You choose how many with the Number of tenants control, and the card carries the note Volume pricing: the rate drops as you grow.
EnterprisePriced individually. The card shows Custom instead of a price, and its button reads Contact Sales rather than Subscribe. Selecting it opens the QortexOS contact page instead of checkout.

Each card lists what the plan includes, and the plan you are on carries a Current plan badge when you look at the Available plans section later.

Billing period and currency

A Billing period toggle switches the prices between Monthly and Annual. Annual carries a Save 20% badge. The pricing step states the terms directly:

All plans include the full operating picture. Annual billing saves 20%. Monthly subscriptions may cancel at any time.

A Currency selector sits next to the toggle. Pick the currency you want to be billed in before you reach checkout: the currency is fixed at checkout and stays the same for the life of the subscription. There is no way to switch it afterward.

At checkout, the amount on the Pay button is the amount charged, and the order summary shows Due today with a footnote reading either "Renews automatically each month. Cancel anytime." or "Renews automatically each year. Cancel anytime."

What the Subscription screen shows

Find it in the sidebar under Settings, in the Tenant Settings group, as Subscription. The screen is titled Subscription Management, with the sub-line "Your plan, billing, and payment methods for this tenant." It is a summary. Nothing on it changes your subscription.

The screen says so in its own standing hint, directly under the title:

Plan changes, cancellation, invoices, and payment methods are handled in the Stripe billing portal.

Four tiles run across the top: Current plan, Status, either Renews on or Ends on, and Default payment method. The third tile reads Ends on when the subscription is set to stop at the end of the current period, so the label never promises a renewal that is not coming.

Below the tiles:

  • Current subscription lists Status, Current period, and Auto-renew, plus rows such as Cancels at period end, Trial ends, Payment recovery status, and Failed payment attempts when they apply.
  • Available plans shows the plan catalog with Billing interval and Currency controls. Its hint reads "Plan changes are made through the Stripe billing portal."
  • Payment methods lists the cards on file with a Default badge on the default one. Its hint reads "Cards are added or removed in the Stripe billing portal."
  • Subscription history lists past subscriptions, newest first.

If your organization has never bought a subscription, the screen says "This tenant has no active subscription. Subscriptions are purchased through sign-up or sales."

Making a change

Open the Subscription screen. Go to Settings, then Tenant Settings, then Subscription.

Select Manage billing. The button sits at the top right of the screen. It announces "Opening the billing portal. Please wait." while it works.

Make the change in the billing portal. Plan changes, cancellation, invoices, and payment methods all live there. When you finish, you are returned to the Subscription screen.

If billing has never been set up, selecting Manage billing reports "This tenant does not have a billing account yet. Billing is set up when a subscription is first purchased."

What you see depends on your role and your subscription. Manage billing does not appear at all for a team member without billing access.
