Manage team members
Edit a member's profile, end or restore their access, and understand each member's own account settings.
Once someone has accepted an invitation, they appear in the Team members table on the Users screen. From there you can correct their profile details and control whether their account is active. Their own settings page stays theirs.
Edit a member's profile
Select Edit on their row. A panel opens titled Edit profile, with the note "Email and sign-in credentials are managed by the member themselves."
Three fields are editable, and nothing else:
- First name
- Last name
- Phone number (optional)
Select Save changes when you are done, or Cancel to close without saving. Save changes stays inactive until you actually change something. First and last name must each be between 1 and 100 characters; the panel says so if they are not.
There is no way for an administrator to change another person's email address, password, or two-factor setup. Those stay with the member.
Deactivate a member
Deactivating is how you end someone's access. There is no delete.
Select Deactivate on their row. A confirmation appears inline: "Deactivate member name? Their access ends immediately; the account can be reactivated later." Choose Confirm deactivation to go ahead, or Cancel to leave the account as it is.
The row stays in the table and its Status changes to Inactive. Their access ends at once, and their role assignments are kept, so nothing needs rebuilding if they come back.
You cannot deactivate your own account. The Deactivate control on your own row is dimmed and does nothing.
Reactivate a member
Select Reactivate on an inactive row. There is no confirmation step. The row returns to Active and the roles the member held before are still in place, so they can sign in again.
Each member's own account settings
Members reach their own Account Settings screen through Settings, then Profile Settings, then Account. Its profile section is read-only, and its four preferences are the member's own to change. A member who needs their name or phone number corrected asks an administrator to use Edit profile on the Users screen; the rest is covered in Your account settings.
