Statuses and freshness
How QortexOS tells you when a figure was current, how to refresh a screen, and what to check when data looks old.
No figure in QortexOS is timeless. Every screen states the moment its figures reflect, and it is worth reading that line before you act on a number.
The as-of line
Under the row of summary cards, each screen carries a short line naming the moment those figures reflect. The wording is specific to the screen, and it is always a plain statement rather than a status badge.
You see variants such as:

The wording differs because the underlying moment differs. A cash position, a monthly metric roll-up, and a connector health statistic are not the same kind of moment, so the screens do not pretend they are.
Auto-refresh
Some screens carry an auto-refresh control at the right of the filter row above the table; Renewals, under Contracts, is one of them. The control is on when you arrive, and it reads Auto-refresh on in that state.
Check whether refresh is on. The control reads Auto-refresh on when it is running and Auto-refresh when it is not. Select it to toggle.
Change the interval. The Refresh interval picker sets how often the screen pulls fresh figures. The current interval is shown on the control.
Act on the stale prompt. When what you are looking at has aged past the interval, the control offers Data is stale - refresh. Select it to pull now. If refresh is on and the next tick has not landed yet, it reads Awaiting next refresh.
Not every screen carries the control. Connector Health, for example, does not. It updates when you open it and after you run an action on it.
Freshness follows your syncs
Refreshing a screen re-reads what QortexOS holds. It does not reach out to your connected systems. New information only arrives when a sync runs, so the real ceiling on freshness is how recently a sync brought data in from that system.
If figures across a whole area look older than you want, look at that system's connector: check its recent runs, start one with Force sync, and review its sync frequency. See Manage sync settings.
Why two screens show different moments
Two screens can be open side by side and honestly disagree about the current moment. That is expected, for two reasons.
Data from different systems lands at different times, so figures fed by an accounting system and figures fed by a PSA can reflect different moments. And a single screen can carry two different moments of its own: the card strip states one as-of date and the table underneath it another. Read each one where it appears.
When data looks stale
Read the as-of line. Confirm the figure is actually older than you expect rather than covering a different window. See Reading a screen.
Refresh the screen. If the screen carries the auto-refresh control, use Data is stale - refresh. Otherwise reload the screen.
Check Connector Health. If the figures still look old, the sync is the likelier cause. Look at Last successful sync and Next sync for the connector that feeds the area, and at Failed syncs. See Monitor connector health.
QortexOS does not email or notify you when a sync fails. Connector Health is where that shows up, so make it a habit rather than waiting to be told.
