Reading a screen
The parts every QortexOS screen shares, and how to read the figures on them.
Most QortexOS screens are built from the same four parts: summary cards across the top, a line stating how current the figures are, a main table below, and an activity feed to the side. Once you recognize those parts, a screen you have never opened before is still readable.
Summary cards
The top of a screen carries a row of cards. Each card has a label naming what is being counted, and a value. Some cards add a one-line definition under the label, which is the fastest way to learn exactly what a figure includes.
When a value cannot be shown, the card reads Not available rather than a zero. That distinction matters. Not available means QortexOS has nothing to report for that figure, not that the figure is zero.

Emphasis on cards that need attention
Cards are not all styled the same. QortexOS emphasizes a card when its value is something you would want to look at, and the rule is usually simple: a count of a problem that is above zero gets emphasized.
On Renewals, under Contracts, both At risk and Expired without renewal are emphasized once they rise above zero. On Connector Health, under Data Platform, Failed syncs is emphasized when it is above zero. Emphasis is a prompt to look, not a verdict.
The main table
Below the cards is the screen's main table. Two controls shape what you see.
Filters. Most tables carry a few dropdown filters drawn from that screen's own vocabulary, such as a status, a severity, or a provider. Each filter has an all option, and a Clear filters button resets them.
Rows per page. The table footer carries a Rows per page selector, usually offering 10, 25, 50, and 100, alongside a line showing which rows you are viewing and how many rows exist in total, plus Previous and Next controls.
Activity feeds
Many screens carry a feed of recent events beside the table, which opens as a panel on a narrow screen. On most of them, every entry carries one of four levels: Error, Warning, Info, or Success. You can filter the feed to a single level, and each level shows its own count. Ages are relative, such as just now.
A few feeds work differently. Recent sync activity on Connector Health lists each run with its own status badge and no level filter.
Fixed time windows
QortexOS has no date-range picker. Instead, every figure that covers a period states that period where the figure appears, and the period is fixed.
You see this directly in card labels: Renewals within 90 days on the contract screens, Tickets (latest day) on Workload under Operations. Some table column headers state their window the same way. Read the label, and you know the window.
When a figure covers part of your records
Some figures are computed from the records a screen has loaded rather than from every record you hold. Where that happens, the screen says so in a line directly under the figure, naming how many records went into it and how many exist in total.
Read those figures as a summary of the records named in that line, not of your whole history. The line is there so the two are never confused.
Blanks and waiting states
A blank is information. QortexOS distinguishes several kinds.

On Home, the five signal cards read Awaiting data.
